Important information
Do not go to the toilet in your harness. You will not be allowed back onto the course. We will then clean and sanitise your equipment.
When on the ground an instructor needs to be able to see your harness at all times. If you wish to leave there vicinity, make sure you have permission from your instructor.
Whilst it is not a requirement to wear gloves or face coverings at Wild Pines Park, you are welcome to for the consideration of others.
At no point are you allowed to consume food whilst in your harness. If you wish to eat then that will be the end of your tree top experience and you will not be allowed back into your harness. Please prepare your trip accordingly to eat either before or after your session, which could be 2-4 hours.
The site closes at 5pm (unless you haven't completed your courses or an event is taking place). By continuing on your booking you agree to abide by these conditions.
For night time events and activities you and your group must acknowledge and agree that there is an increase in risk associated with undertaking them. Only proceed if you are sure you and your group understand these conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
The following comprise the standard terms and conditions of booking a ticket(s) for Wild Pines Park Ltd. In proceeding with the booking it shall be deemed that the Party booker and each and every guest has accepted them.
THE PRICE
The price payable for a ticket(s) shall be as set out in the booking confirmation
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
The party booker understands that these activities can be physically demanding and participants could sustain minor injuries e.g. grazes
The booking is confirmed once the company has received payment and you, the party booker, has received written confirmation from Wild Pines Park Ltd, this includes email and website confirmation (please check spam folder).
RESTRICTIONS
There is an advisory height limit 140cm. Anyone under this will need to be accompanied by someone over this height to help them operate the safety system on a 1 to 1 basis.
There will be no refunds given if participants choose to or are unable to go on our courses.
There is a strict weight limit of 17 stones (108kg). Anyone that doesn't fit into there harness correctly or who is close to this limit may be refused onto the ropes course. Serious injury may result in anyone over this weight limit.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party meet these requirements.
Participants must be over 6 years old.
We are a no smoking site (no naked flames of any kind on site unless prior written authorisation). Do not smoke anywhere on site, if you are found smoking in your harness it will be the end of your session and you will be asked to leave.
You are not allowed to walk the woodland in your harness. Instructors must be able to see you in your harness at all times.
REFUNDS
Refunds on the day are at the total discretion of Wild Pines Park. We are aware that these activities are not for everyone so please make sure that everyone in your group wishes to participate beforehand.
ALLOCATED TIME SLOTS
Once you have a confirmed booking, you will have an allocated time slot. It is best that you turn up 15 mins prior to your allocated time. A missed time slot will be treated as a cancelled booking and no refund will be given. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate you at a later time or date, this may not always be possible.
CANCELLATION POLICY / CHANGE OF BOOKING
You shall be entitled to cancel or change your booking subject to receiving your request for cancellation/change at least 7 days before the booked start time. Any requests for cancellation/change must be made by emailing office@wildpinespark.com. It can take up to 28 days for a refund to be processed (usually 24 hours). You shall not be entitled for a cancellation under 7 days, however you may be able to at our discretion (if we have time slots available) change your time/date.
Please ensure you book for the correct amount of people as we are unable to process refunds if the number of participants changes within 7 days. We often have extra capacity on the day if you wished to add more to the booking however this cannot be guaranteed.
Wild Pines Park Ltd shall be entitled to cancel your booking at any time. In the event that Wild Pines Park Ltd decides to cancel your booking it shall use its reasonable endeavours to notify you as soon as possible. You shall be entitled to a full refund in the event of cancellation under this clause but no other compensation shall be payable.
In the event that it proves necessary to close the ropes course for reasons beyond the control of Wild Pines Park Ltd (i.e. extreme weather conditions) and you have started or are about to start the activity you will be offered another date or time or refund.
SAFETY
The Activities comprise a challenging high ropes course and participation is not without risk, all participants will receive detailed safety training from an instructor.
Wild Pines Park Ltd reserves the right to refuse admittance to the ropes course or to remove a participant from the ropes course should it deem it necessary to do so. This includes a participant who does not comply with the safety rules and advice and the safety system or who is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
After the safety briefing participants will not be directly supervised by an instructor. Participating adults must sign a Risk Acknowledgment & Regulations stating that he or she will accept responsibility for the safety of him or herself and for supervision of children in his or her care.
All participants must be reasonably fit and healthy. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party meet these requirements.
All participants are required to wear a safety harness provided by Wild Pines Park Ltd and fitted by one of our qualified instructors. Harnesses are only to be adjusted by the instructor, serious injury can occur if participants attempt to interfere with their harness in anyway.
The Activities are physically demanding and require a degree of agility, strength and stamina. If participants are in any doubt as to whether they should attempt the Activities they are advised to walk the course before booking. If participants have medical concerns they are advised to consult their doctor in advance. Participants will be required to certify that they do not suffer from any medical condition which would make it more likely that they would be involved in any incident which could result in injury to themselves or others.
Due to the physical nature of the Activities and the fitting of our harness (we make them nice and secure which could be uncomfortable for pregnant woman) we recommend that pregnant women should not take part. You will have to sign a disclaimer to state that you are not pregnant before participating.
Participants need to be able to see similar distances to those required to drive a car in order to be able to complete the course. Consequently, short or long sighted participants must ensure that they wear contact lenses or prescribed glasses.
The Activities will remain open in most weather conditions (but not in circumstances of gales, lightning, heavy ice or snow).
Except as otherwise provided in these Booking Terms and Conditions Wild Pines Park shall not be responsible for the loss, or damage, of or to any property or to any person arising from the booking of or participation in the Activities.
No refunds or compensation will be payable by Wild Pines Park Ltd in the event that any participant is not permitted to, or decides not to, undertake or complete the Activities for the reasons set out in this clause.
CLOTHING
For safety reasons, Wild Pines Park Ltd have the right to refuse entry should a potential customer be inappropriately dressed; i.e. no open toed sandals, flip flops, skirts will be permitted. Any loose fitting items, jewellery etc need to be removed or taped.
UNDER 16's
Children are not allowed to be left alone on site or whilst participating in an activity. A parent or guardian must be present to ensure there safety whilst on site. Wild Pines Park accepts no responsibility for under 16's left alone in the woodland.
FREE ACTIVITIES AND THE SITE
There are a number of activities on site that are used for other purposes, such as team building, these activities have been risk assessed as safe. They are used under the supervision of trained and competent staff. By accepting this booking you take full responsibility of your group whilst on site and safety whilst on the ground outside of the instructors view. All activities, including swings, hammocks, den building, treasure hunting, pond watching, tug of war etc (not a complete list) are not to be undertaken without express permission and supervision of an instructor. Use of any of these activities includes a risk and by agreeing to this booking you agree to accept responsibility for all those in your booking group. You must assume that activities outside of the ones you have booked for are not safe. Wild Pines Park Ltd accept no responsibility for injuries occurring using the equipment, games, leisure accessories that are throughout the site.
Events
Events are held throughout the year. Only public who have been given express permission are able to participate in these events. Careful consideration should be given if you are unsure of what the event entails. The safety of yourself and of your group are the lead bookers responsibility when not on a supervised activity. Each paid activity has been risk assessed as safe. Instructions must be followed at all times. Do not go outside of the cordoned off areas. Do not go into areas of unlit woodland in low level light without express permission from senior members of staff. Events held at night have additional risks and by making this booking you agree to the increased risk that they may entail. On completion of any safety briefs it is your responsibility to ensure that you and your group wish to carry. There is no refunds given if you decide to not partake in the activities.
